South Beach Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC

Located towards the end of South Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, SC you will find a luxurious resort set on a par 3 golf course. The resort is called South Beach Resort and boasts a variety of amenities for individuals, couples and families. Our stay at South Beach Resort was short lived but wonderful. Although the resort is not located directly on the beach, the resort's clubhouse is on the beach. The resort is within walking distance from the beach and there is a paved walkway accessing the ocean. For added safety, South Beach Resort is a gated community and employs 24-hour security officers.

South Beach Resort is located at 3000 South Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, SC. The resort is acroos the street from the popular Coral Reef Resort. Because of the resort's centralized location, it is very easy to get to all of the popular attractions, restaurants and shopping centers that Myrtle Beach has to offer its visitors. South Beach Resort has one, two and three bedroom condos. We stayed in a two bedroom unit and it was beautifully decorated. The condo had two bathrooms, one of which had a jacuzzi tub and separate walk-in shower. Off of the master bedroom and living room was our screened in balcony. Our balcony overlooked the pool bar and large pool. With a waterfall and palm trees located throughout the area, it was very relaxing. The kitchen had all of the necessary items for cooking and storing foods.

The resort amenities were plentiful. With a humongous whirlpool, outdoor pools, lazy river, children's pool and oceanfront water activites in the oceanfront clubhouse, it is a swimmer's delight! The resort also has a sauna, exercise room, game room and onsite restaurant. The pools are scattered throughout the resort and across the street at the oceanfront clubhouse, so no matter which condo you are in there is an activity nearby. Because South Beach Resort is nestled on a par 3 golf course, guests can play a round or two of golf anytime they wish.
