South Carolina Education Lottery Introduces Two New "Pair" Play Games

Alfonso Coley
Pick 3 players in South Carolina have been waiting several years for a par-lay chance to win more money on the pick 3 game. The South Carolina Education Lottery will join the ranks of many other metropolitan cities that give players the option to play a Front Pair and Back Pair combination.

The play slips will become official on January 31, lottery players can choose two numbers in a Front Pair or Back Pair combination, a 50 cent wager wins $25; a $1.00 wager wins $50.

To win a Front Pair or Back Pair bet, South Carolina Lottery players will need to have the pair of numbers in exact order drawn by the lottery.

The introduction of this new pair play for pick 3 will give South Carolina Lottery players a chance to better their odds at winning even more money. The South Carolina Education Lottery odds for a winning pair is 1 in 100, this may not be an inclusive estimate, as the lottery commission may make a final decision on the odds before January 31.

It will be another banner year for the South Carolina Education Lottery, as the dollars spent will continue to enhance and help South Carolina students K-12.

Thanks Lodie for leaving your comment, the South Carolina Lottery has done more good than it will ever do harm. It is a great collaboration between the people who play the lottery, in relation to the funding that goes into the school system on all levels. Mr.Hadely is misinformed pertaining to how profitable the S.C. Lottery has been to the residents whom reside here, in addition to it is a fun a legitimate way to win money.

It is sad that we use a lottery which preys on the poor and uneducated to finance education. Is this the best S. Carolina can do? State run lotteries are nothing more than a method used to keep the poor poor.
