South Korea Eats: Burgers in Busan

Kraze Burger, Breeze Burn's, and Lotteria

If you need a break from all that kimchi and kimbap you've been eating since you set foot in Korea and are looking for a burger, try these burger joints in Busan.

Kraze Burger

Kraze Burger is more than just a simple burger joint. Besides having delicious burgers, Kraze Burger offers a wide range of pastas and sandwiches, which makes it a great place to go when you are with a group of people. There's something for everyone at Kraze Burger.

Kraze Burger can be found in the CGV building in the Kyungsung University area. Take the line 2 subway in the direction of Jangsan and get off at Kyungsung University/Pukyong National University (212). Use exit 6, which will lead you to CGV. You won't miss it.

A Kraze Burger just opened up in the Seomyeon Lotte. The restaurant is located in the basement next to the grocery store. Take the line 1 or 2 subway and get off at Seomyeon. Follow the signs to Lotte and head to the basement.

Breeze Burn's

Breeze Burn's is my favorite burger joint in Busan. You will not be disappointed with the burgers found here. You'll pay a bit more for one than, say, a McDonald's or Burger King burger, but it is worth it. The cost of a burger ranges from 5,000 won - 8,000 won. French fries cost extra.

Besides burgers, Breeze Burn's offers delicious milk shakes, both domestic and international beer and soda of course. If you are craving Breeze Burn's in the morning, stop by and grab some breakfast. They have a breakfast and brunch deal for two people.

You can find Breeze Burn's in Seomyeon just outside of Lotte on a side street next to the big globe. If you enjoy people watching and the beach, head to Breeze Burn's at Gwangalli Beach.

Lotteria

This one might be a given, but if you're craving a burger and don't want to spend more than a few dollars, go to the McDonald's of Korea - Lotteria. It doesn't matter if you speak a word of Korean or not, ordering at Lotteria is fairly fast and easy. Lotteria has the menu laid out in front of the register, which makes it easy to just point to what you want.

Lotteria, like other burger joints, has a variety of burgers that you can choose from. There are chicken burgers, shrimp burgers, bulgogi burgers, and so much more. Lotteria also offers mozzarella sticks, chicken, fries, waffles, and desert.

It's not hard to find Lotteria. They are everywhere. In fact, Lotte in Seomyeon has one in the basement and one on the ninth floor.
