It has long been known that really good eggnog must be alcoholic. Southern Comfort is a traditional alcoholic additive to holiday eggnog, which makes Southern Comfort the perfect brand to trust to combine traditional eggnog, Southern Comfort, and coffee into a unique blend that captures the best of all three holiday flavors. One might worry at first that such an amalgam of complex flavors might be too much for a single beverage, but Southern Comfort Egg Nog coffee is both powerful enough to be substantial and subtle enough not to be too overwhelming for a holiday dessert beverage.
Southern Comfort Egg Nog coffee brews like any other flavored gourmet coffee, such as those offered by Starbucks or Peet's Coffee. One tablespoon of Southern Comfort Egg Nog coffee is required for every six ounces of water in a standard coffee maker. Since I prefer my coffee a little stronger, I have found that I need to use slightly more of the Southern Comfort Egg Nog coffee than the package directions indicate, but this is largely a matter of taste and preference instead of a property of the Southern Comfort Egg Nog coffee itself.
Southern Comfort Egg Nog coffee can be served black or served with cream and sugar, although a coffee beverage as decadent as Southern Comfort Egg Nog coffee is best served topped with homemade whipped cream with a dash of real nutmeg to complete the eggnog approximation experience. It goes without saying that a love of eggnog is required to really have a love and appreciation of the Southern Comfort Egg Nog coffee. But if you do enjoy traditional alcoholic holiday eggnog, then you are likely to enjoy the Southern Comfort Egg Nog flavored coffee as well.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a new twist on traditional holiday beverages this holiday season, give the Southern Comfort Egg Nog flavored coffee a try. It will make a memorable impression on your holiday guests, whether served with holiday dinner or with an after-dinner holiday dessert. Coffee, eggnog, and Southern Comfort is the perfect blend for this holiday season.
