Space Shuttle Endeavour Lands

The Space Shuttle landed today. This means it touched the ground. It came down from the sky. It was in space. Space is the area around Earth. This is the planet we live on. It is nice. The space shuttle is reusable. This means it can fly several times. People in white suits clean it. They say may sure your tray tables are up.

Endeavour is a bit old. It was made in the 1980's. This was the decade before the 90's. This was the decade after the 70's. Endeavour is part of Nasa's fleet. This means they have more than one space shuttle. They have Endeavour. They have Discovery. They have Atlantis. Columbia and Challenger were lost. This means they didn't come back. These were sad days in Nasa history.

The Space shuttle takes off. It is a rocket that leaves Florida. It goes off a green tower. It goes up in the sky. Then it goes into space. Space is nice. You don't have gravity there. Earth has gravity. This means you won't fly away. In space you can float. Sometimes food floats in the space shuttle. This can make a mess. Cosmonauts fly it. There is a pilot. There is a commander. There are payload specialists. They handle the load. This is nice.

My caretaker and I watched landing. We did not see it in person. This means we were not there. We were in the living room. This is where we watch television. My goldfish likes watching Endeavour. It is nice space shuttle. It has an American flag on it. It has Nasa written on it. It has Endeavour written on it. This is so you know which shuttle it is. They look the same.

Space travel is nice. One day I will take my caretaker. I will take my goldfish Mopsie to. Endeavour is the ship we want to take. It is the best of the fleet. This means it is better than Atlantis and Discovery. Thank you for landing safe Endeavour. The Cosmonauts are nice people.
