Chunky Ragu Garden Combination comes in 1lb glass jars. Usually there is enough to feed 4 to 5 people from each jar. You can also purchase this spaghetti sauce in bulk size jars.
To prepare Chunky Ragu Garden Combination pasta sauce is easy. You heat it in a sauce pan or in the microwave. You can also if you like; take a frying pan and brown some cut up onion, then add the sauce and heat it up a few minutes. This makes it extra yummy.
This pasta sauce is great because, for one it is easy preparation and for two it is healthy. Garden Combination has more than one full serving of vegetables in every half of a cup of their Ragu pasta sauce. Per half cup serving there is only 2.5 grams of fat and only 80 calories. Also, there is only 9 grams of sugar. There is no cholesterol and it contains 2 grams of protein. Chunky Ragu claims that there are no artificial additives and no preservatives. They also state that it is a natural source of Lycopene.
If you are looking to make sure your kids get their veggies or you don't eat meat, then you will definitely love this product. It tastes great without having greasy red meat in the mix and it is a sneaky way of getting vegetables in your kids. If you are dieting this is a great choice if placed on whole wheat spaghetti. Or if you really just love your vegetables, you can taste them in every juicy bite. This product is full of flavor and is mouth watering good.
I loved the fact that it is low in calories and fat; also that it has a full serving of vegetables which I need. My husband loves it and my kids love it. Chunky Ragu Garden Combination pasta sauce is often low in price and on sale.
What I didn't like about this product is that it has mushrooms. I hate mushrooms. They taste horrible to me, so I pick them out. It's good for my husband though, he likes them. This pasta sauce is a little too high in sodium too. Other than that this product is great!
Overall I highly recommend this product to others and can tell you it is the best tasting pasta sauce I have had in years.
