As millions across Spain danced, cheered and set off fireworks all night after Spain's upset over the Netherlands in the World Cup Soccer tournament, the Spanish team prepared to return home Monday to throngs of reporters and a massive parade.

Spain's World Cup winning team will arrive at Madrid's International Airport Monday at 2:30PM local time (8:30AM EST) for a massive country-wide celebration that will include a meeting with the Spanish King Juan Carlos and Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. The entire team will also ride from the airport through Madrid's historic city center in an open-air bus at 7:00PM local time (1:00PM EST) to greet their cheering fans.

The team managed to beat the Netherlands 1-0 in extra time in Johannesburg for Spain's first World Cup title. Andrés Iniesta managed to make the last minute goal and bring the team to victory. The upset dashed the hopes of the Netherlands, which prides itself on it's football heritage.Since the win on Sunday the center of Madrid has been washed over in the red and gold colors of Spain.

People have been up all night celebrating in Madrid. A crowd estimated by Spanish media at more than 250,000 watched the entire match on giant screens in a fan park.
