Spare the rod and spoil the child.
Get some head nods.
Did someone get it backwards?
Change, do it our way.
The new kids know better
Than the wisdom told
In books from long ago.
Gods with a different attitude
Are here to change the rules.
The constitution is in our way.
Let's pull up our stakes for communism,
I mean socialism,
Just a slip of words.
Curse the idealists of the past.
Get the children in your grasp.
Keep them broke and out of gas.
Get their knees on the grass.
Overseas kings will bring true peace
To the arguing mass.
Let a new religion teach you
When to steal, kill, and lie,
On your way to paradise.
Don't let go of the rope
That is keeping your head out of the water.
Taking pills, won't make you grow gills,
Fish of the new world order.
