Speak Softly and Carry a Rubber Stick?

How to Win an Argument for Sissies

LarrWayne Po

Since when is it right
To always be nice
And bow to the enemy?
Just relax and smile;
It will only hurt
For a little while?

Just whisper or be quiet,
Like sissies afraid of hype?
Tremble when you type?
Will limp backbones
Dare to speak bold
And stand up for our rights?

Overtaxed With a Smile,
Will they walk their last miles,
All in a hush,
Where speaking out loud
Is not allowed,
Where the fools rule
Their every sound?

Leaders with backbone,
It is time to say and do
The requests of the people.
Stop the big spenders.
Make them be accountable
And act like they care
For the USA,
Instead of acting like traitors.

I hear ya....I wish you'd run for Congress or president. You'd have my vote!

Leaders with backbone are getting rarer in democratic systems everywhere. Mostly, they just react, put out the fires. No proactive steps to stem the rot. It is time for positive overhaul; otherwise, China will rule the world soon and it will just be another world. Good thoughts, LarrWayne - siva

You said it...the only ones with any spine anymore are people like you who speak up about this. The politicians are more worried about walking the politically correctness tightrope. Good for you friend.
