Speaking of Evolution

If Evolution Really Works the Way It's Supposed To, Where Are All the "Almost" Species"

David E. Hallett
One of my critics accused me of having the "perception of a five year old" concerning evolution. He actually called me "another idiot who didn't understand how evolution works".

He was right. I DON'T understand how it works. But neither does he- nor does anyone else. Proponents of the theory of evolution only know how it's SUPPOSED to work, and they hang onto that for dear life.

Another of my most vocal critics went so far as to try to enlighten me by telling me that a certain species of dinosaur, (Dromeosaurs) had a wish bone which PROVED they were related to birds. He also said, "take microraptor too, it is belived to be able to GLIDE with feathers similar to a Birds"
(Sorry-that's a direct quote from him-misspelling and all)

See how this person holds on tightly to an UNPROVABLE theory?

The fact that a species of dinosaur had a wishbone proves absolutely nothing except that it had a wishbone! It also had claws and eyes! So did a whole lot of other species! And so do almost all reptiles and birds today.

Most of them also had teeth. They also had a brain, even though it was primitive at best. We humans today have teeth, and a brain, too. What does that prove- that WE are related to dinosaurs?

He shows how flimsy his argument is, however, with his statement about microraptor. "It is BELIEVED to be able to glide with feathers similar to a bird". Just because some paleontologist BELIEVES it could fly, doesn't mean it could. A lot of kids BELIEVE in Santa Claus, too, but that doesn't make him real.

I don't dispute the fact that dinosaurs roamed this earth for over 100,000,000 years. I've visited museums, and seen their skeletons, and marveled at them many times. In fact, I'm a big fan of dinosaurs. I love to hear about new species being found.

But I don't have to believe in evolution to believe in dinosaurs!

The very fact they were on earth so long doesn't prove they were evolving into one form or another, either. It simply proves conditions on earth were perfectly suited to dinosaurs for a very long time.

The basic fallacy of evolution is "given enough time these changes will occur." It sounds almost plausible until you stop and actually ask the one question evolutionists just cannot answer: What happened to all those life forms-regardless of what they were-while they were developing new characteristics?

Common sense tells you that if a life form needed to change to survive, that change would have had to occur instantaneously. It wouldn't have had all that time evolutionists are so fond of throwing about!

As an example, what did triceratops do before it developed those horns? It certainly needed them to take on T Rex! While it was sitting around trying to get them going, T. Rex must have been having a feast!
How long did it take to develop them? Why aren't there any fossils of triceratops with partly developed horns?

As different species were arising, old species were dying out. BUT- and this is a very big but- no one has ever yet found a fossil showing one species developing into another. T Rex is always T Rex. Triceratops is always triceratops. The newer life forms were merely adaptations of the SAME life form. They didn't "evolve" into anything else. There's a world of difference between adapting and evolving!

There are no "almost" T Rexes to be found anywhere. Nor are there any "almost" triceratops or birds, except in the minds of wishful thinkers, who will grasp at anything to hold onto their theory.

If evolution actually worked the way it's SUPPOSED to work, paleontologists should have found at least ONE fossil of a T Rex or triceratops that was "almost" something else, by now, because they've been finding all kinds of fossils for about the last 150 years or so. But the fact is they HAVEN't!

A lot of very learned scientists postulate, hypothesize, guess at how things happened, then put it out as actual fact. "Evolution is a proven fact" is the mantra, even though it isn't a fact, nor is it, or has it ever been proven.

My critics laughed at the idea of "intelligent design", or a Creator. But they put their faith in a theory that has been MATHEMATICALLY PROVEN to be impossible!

They deny there is an all-wise, super-intelligent God who created all things, but accept the theory that some mindless, brainless, unintelligent process could effect intelligent changes!

Can intelligence actually come from NON-INTELLIGENCE?
Can there be design without a DESIGNER?

I can't really understand how anyone can actually BELIEVE that!

But, perhaps that's why I can't understand how evolution works, either..

My reasoning is both sound and logical. I wrote an article entitled, "The Mathematical Impossibility of Evolution" which proves the fallacy of the entire hypothesis. Read it! I am not a "barely literate fool". Engaging in name-calling and character assassination doesn't help to make one's case.

You claim many things, your evidence and reasoning are lacking. If you have indeed proven evolution to be mathematically immposible then tell us how? But of course you cannot. How arrogant you are, so knowledgable and wiser than all the biologists and scientists in the world. Your are a barely literate fool.

Where are your critics now Dave? There is nothing they can respond with, except name calling...

I watched a program on Nova this evening called "What Darwin Didn't Know". It amazed me with all the advances in DNA research that show humans and so many other life forms have a great deal in common. By looking at life at the DNA level I believe science is seeing the Creator's canvas and color pallet.

They are seeing the mechanisms put in place by an ellogant design to give life diversity. Their research an findings beget more question all the time -except one- "where did DNA come from?" Hmmmmmm.

It struck me as funny that humans have less DNA than corn and many other plants.
