The Jack Russell Terrier is an active, hyper little dog which thinks it's a big dog.Jack Russell Terrier's may not be for everyone, as most of you know they can be a handful, but if trained right you can have a Jack Russell who is calm, and will get a long well with other house hold pets like cats "YES" if raised with a Jack Russell and you keep up on the training with them.
Jack Russell Terrier's can be hyper if not trained and this is where people tend to forget that this little busy body acts like it's a big dog, but really it's not, also they are fearless, but also loving. The Jack Russell can be a great pet to own, and I always have people coming up to me and ask " how do you get your Jack Russell to listen?" Well number one with any dog it's always good to start your training when your dog is a puppy, bring it around people and other dogs this will also help with the training, as puppies they love to be around people and other dogs, they will also learn.
If your thinking on going out to buy a Jack Russell, just keep in mind that your really getting a big dog, but in a small body, and Jack Russell's are not for everyone most people might find them too hyper or too active this is why you should really look up the breed and get as much as information as you can, as this will help you understand a little bit more about the Jack Russell Terrier. Also the Jack Russell will try to push your buttons to become the top dog in your house hold, this is why it's important that you keep up the training, and showing your Jack Russell that your the top dog in the home and that your not willing to be pushed around.
Well I sure hope that i have helped out with any questions you may have if not just leave me a message and I'll try to get back to you all as soon as I can, I would also like to say sorry about the last post I put up it was called "Everything You Might Not Know About Living With A Jack Russell Terrier."

BEFORE YOU BUY THIS DOG... make sure you have plenty of time & patience! if you lack either of these your relationship with your pet will not be a good one.
