II. Politics, Mass Media, and Economics
A.
Politics
Do you really think that rich politicians with there own personal gain have anything to do with the will of there people, despite being elected by them? The reality that "Elected officials are here to serve the will of American beliefs," is a lie and that if you thought about it politicians are always out to have there own laws passed or there own will done. For example, "Senator A" wants his "Bill A" to become law in order to do that however, he needs other senators to endorse it. So "Senator B" who is charismatic and can convince other senators will endorse "Bill A" so as long as "Senator A" endorses a bill from "Senator B" next time.
Do you think that half the stuff politicians say is full truth? Politicians say half-truths by there words. As we know politicians act like they are there for us, when a national tragedy has taken place and we are afraid and shocked into submission, they give us big promises ones that they cannot even keep. A great example is the War on Terror how Osama Bin Laden attacks us and we go to war and we can find Saddam Hussein in a hole in the desert yet we cannot find Osama in a cave, it saddens me to see the American public forget why we are in a war that will never end, that's to find Osama Bin Laden. Ironically as some of you may realize it's a part of human nature to Terrorize people, and I am wondering who the real terrorist is... Is it our own government or a man in some cave?
Anyway the other half of their "truth" is represented by there actions. It almost always ends up as contradiction. This is also a great reason to explain why there is conflict in the world, since it spawns from the individual levels of contradiction and self-interest.
B.
Whenever some company makes a product there is capital being made for the producers of those said products. My question is this than: "In this time of War who is profiting?" Well I can think of two industries off the bat that are profiting immensely from this war, Military Industrial Complex such as Big Oil, after all how will a tank move from Point A to Point B.
We are in Iraq which is one of the biggest oil fields of the world you are telling me that gas is going up and we are running out of the crude oil supplies, meanwhile, we just conquered a large oil field? Where's the common sense in that? In economics when there is plenty supply and a steady demand the price is generally steady. How is it that the price of oil seems to have gone up and stayed up since Hurricane Katrina, which was almost 3 years ago?
The truth is all of this is a system set up by the powers that be to put everyone on a treadmill and "keep waving that carrot in front of the horse." Whenever we get tired of their words the powers that be will re-inspire by some awe-shocking action and get us motivated again. In economics you are nothing more than a unit to the big and rich and powerful. You are nothing more than a unit designed to run to there will's. "Oh you want a car; you need to work for it." You're in an accident and both you and your car damaged "I hope your insurance covers the damage." Guess what you work for that insurance and they have the right to drop you! How backwards is that? You should be able to drop them if they don't provide, but the powers that be will not allow this to happen because, they work for the companies not the clients.
Whose work are you doing? What is the reward? What gives that reward its value? Am I really happy doing what I am doing or am I deceiving myself and just wishing for a life of real happiness, instead of seeking it? Don't you notice that you pay for everything? Meanwhile the powers that be try to put you on a treadmill that is going progressively faster, yet slow enough that any changes that are made are very subtle!
Do you know that in free market economics it's necessary for people to be unemployed? Because, if there is no unemployment than the system will fail on its own, there won't be any need to compete to work for your job which means production will get sluggish.
Therefore, businesses have lay-off's or fire people to keep you running and those who are fired do not get sufficient help to overcome there problems but rather get treated unfairly by a system designed from the beginning to take you down. So the supposed "Rich and powerful who pay there taxes and 'do good things' for their country" decided to worry more about production than the people who are producing for them. I guess when you have money and power you define what is "Good", yeah right.
Let this statement I made also be a warning that any politicians running for office on any level of government can only do so much to keep people from being laid-off and unemployed because, the economic system demands that we are to keep people unemployed, therefore, they can only do so much to keep the unemployment situation under control.
C. Major Media
You want to talk about lies and half-truths look no further. This is the official propaganda machine in society. They are willing to tell you anything you want / expect to hear so as long as you watch them. The media in this country are paid by telecom industry such as cable. If people are not watching enough from a particular news network than guess what happens to them? They get less and less money. So they sensationalize the truth and twist it so than people will want to listen. Conspiracy theories aside people are willing to lie to be heard and to "grab the spotlight." You need to know that this comes from the human ego's desire for greed and vanity.
Ultimately like the examples discussed above the powers that be are smart they know that "The lesser the amount of those who are actually and intentionally involved the less they need to pay off or threaten, rather they coerce the mass media, politicians and the economy itself by appealing to there own egoistic desires."
The Media- tells you what you want to hear so you will watch them and they will make money.
Politicians- want to look good by trying to make themselves look like they are doing there job so they will get re-elected.
Economics- people produce and invest so than everything within the economy and the previous two examples can be financed and appear to have a purpose.
There are illusions that seem to control the way we think. We seem to think that when various politicians say certain words we listen, these words often have the illusions in them. We are drawn to this idea that we should listen to the powerful, they promise us our rights and our freedom, and they say it is for the best. But once they get into the position we elected them into they don't deliver. But is it because, what they are not delivering is impossible to deliver? I would have to say yes, the promise to deliver is impossible to deliver!
They promise us great things and use words like world peace, freedom, the greatest good for the greatest number of people, success, happiness, Justice for All, Hope... These are but vague and illusionary concepts of a society that does not know what it really wants; these words used by this society are designed to make us motivated. The powers that be define these words, so they can manipulate you to there will. They know you will do anything for these concepts and so you will willingly be deceived! So my real and sincere questions to everyone out there listening to this is:
"Would you know what real World Peace and real Hope is if it was right in front of you?"
"Would you know what real freedom and real Justice is if it is right in front of you?"
"Would you know what real success and real happiness is if it is right in front of you?"
I ask these questions to you in this video because, it seems to me we have lost what these concepts really meant and that we are slowly being made to forget what they mean in exchange that we believe what the powers that be say is reality, yet, it is not! What they say is not reality it is an illusion designed to keep you ignorant and afraid to know the truth! Real World Peace cannot be made by forcing everyone to submit to one world power. This can never be done; World peace must come at the individual level. Every single individual on the planet needs to make peace with the world around them because, that is true world peace.
III. Issues of Importance
A.
Rights
1.
Your rights are being taken away right under your nose and you do not even know it! History repeats itself, if you do not learn from it you to will repeat it! The Bill of Rights is your rights do not let anyone encroach upon them you have the rights and your slowly and surely being told that this is for your own best interest for security.
Benjamin Franklin said it best about freedom and wanting to be safe: "If we restrict liberty to attain security we will lose them both." So right off the bat if you're a True American you're never safe. Since, corrupt people want to see liberty and Justice to all, done away with. You will be told anything so that you may willingly give up your rights or you may never surrender your rights and conflict will breakout between those who actually stand for freedom and those who pretend to stand for freedom.
Did You Know: As you may know in May 2008 [however, due to some last minute delegation, in March 2007 it was decided that the enforcement of this bill will not come until December 2009!] you will need to have A NATIONAL ID Card as part of the National ID Act? And on it will have more information that what is just being written on it is contained via a small microscopic chip. Some will say "Well if I have nothing to hide than there is nothing to worry about!"
The point I am trying to make is, the powers that be are always going to keep tabs on you and if you don't care and don't have a concern about what is happening it will end up like something similar to a storybook or a movie like: V for Vendetta, 1984, Brave New World or Animal Farm.
Another point I am trying to make is the concept behind what the powers that be are doing. If you thought about it the odds are most likely you are a PRIVATE CITIZEN, which means you are not famous like a celebrity or as important as a politician. The Private Citizen being watched and monitored is indeed a great form of contradictory behavior the government can make. The phrase "Private and being watched" in itself does not makes sense, it does not make sense because, it is contradictory!
Ever since when was the Republic of free people turned into a Police State of those in the Black Iron Prison? You are meant to be free, and part of freedom is the ability to do things without being observed and watched whether you know you are being watched or not!
It's important to realize that police brutality is going to be on the rise because; law enforcement is given more power and less responsibility for there newfound power. This is only one problem of many existing or potential problems I can think of at the moment. Military and Police Power used to scare the populace, is that not a form of Tyranny? I think the War on Terror stems from Terror, that is coming from those who manipulate our government into doing acts, they would otherwise not want to.
You see the Non-Lethal Weapons being abused, you know about the interrogation techniques used by our government, you know that everyday you are manipulated and pulled in two directions at once until you breakdown. This is exactly what the powers that be want you to do, breakdown. Why because, you are coerced into caring about what the powers that be have to say and do. They communicate this by means of the mass propaganda machine that is Corporate American Media Tycoons.
It's often said you are born free this is true but the system starts taking hits on you from the time you can feel and remember negative circumstances, your ego (fears, insecurities, perverted desires which are all impressed upon you by this greatly flawed society, is what will) enslave you. You need to break free from your own prison if you want to break free from the prison called society, in order to know true freedom!
B.
Environment
Okay so what is so important about our environment? I am not a liberal tree hugger who is using liberal scare tactics to scare you into GLOBAL WARMING! But we have only one atmosphere and one planet on which it exist we should take care of it.
It's no doubt that the planet is facing climate change but it does not mean we should argue about whether or not it is our fault! Big business will say no and "scientist" and some politicians will say yes! Stop arguing whose fault it is, this stems from the individual need to take the word of a specialist. Have you noticed that everyone likes to point figures at someone else when something bad happens? It is our nature we like to place the blame on someone else and we get so caught up in blaming someone else that we forget really how to fix the problem. On a larger scale it is called conflict and what we forget is making a true lasting peace. We need to prepare on an individual and global scale for effects of Global Warming, in order to keep loss of life to a minimum and cost to rebuild infrastructure to a minimum. Even if it means to have some cost now, so be it. I would rather put money into something for long-term sake than short-term gamble.
C.
Consumerism
It seems in this society we are obsessed with consuming and buying things. The creepy part is that this society is borderline-"Brave New World" in the sense that we would rather want to buy a new product if it broke than repairs that broken product. Another thing is consuming drugs I am talking Marijuana and alcohol things of that nature, anything to fry our brain and get us out of the pains of this illusion reality. We take these intoxicants not for spiritual reasons but recreational "just for the hell of it" reasons. You see it on TV and hear it on the radio! Drugs will fry your brain and make you stupid and utterly unaware that you are purposefully living in an illusion of lies and self-denial. This to me seems like it's out of "Brave New World" with the Soma drug which is a clinically proven antidepressant drug that everyone uses to numb the pains of reality instead of actually trying to fix the problems found in the pain. Be careful for we just might be getting there to.
This can be traced back to our human nature of running for pleasure to escape pain. People would rather drug themselves into a self induced coma than try to fix there problems. When you come to realize that "Sometimes you have to go through the thorn bush to get passed your troubles." Than perhaps the consumption of drugs will either end or be used more responsibly.
IV. Mass of Ignorance
A.
Hollywood
Look at Britney Spears and that YouTube guy with the whole "Leave her alone Incident." Everyone has a reason to live and until Britney can snap out of her nostalgia she will have only one reason and that's about not leading a life of sacrificed individuality and gross materialism.
Look at these actors that seem to be living the life and if they get into trouble they get what they want. Reduced sentence, home prison, etc... I would like to see an actual convict have that happen to them... Oh wait they don't because they have money! The Rich run around getting into trouble and when they do they just flash some money and than there not in trouble anymore!
Another thing I have noticed which makes a great example in this discussion of mine is the "John Hotti" lifestyle. It literally is about sacrificing your identity and intelligence to gain all the self-deception you want. People give up education for popularity. People change the personality to look cool when in reality are infatuated by there own Pride and need to consume superficial possessions. They buy all the things that appeal to the title of "John Hotti" they do it to look cool when in reality they are nothing more than people who are insecure about themselves.
Again, Hollywood is based around insecurity and fears. An example of a fear is not having everything you wanted or insecure about losing everything you ever had, when in fact the programmed popular groups of kids have already lost something: "They lost themselves and there own identity." However, this does not mean it is gone for good for it can be recovered if they really wanted to.
B.
Sports
I love baseball, but it seems that in today's world all that matter's is who is winning and losing. Were forgetting about the real problems in the world and the powers that be are at it again to put us back to sleep.
You know they say those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it. Let me share some history with you: In ancient Rome when the empire became to big and people where starving inside the city itself nobody cared because, they got free entertainment at The Coliseum and people where thrown bread by people in chariots and people would do anything just to get that bread (thrown at them) because, they were desperate. People would watch Gladiators kill each other to make them forget about there own desperate situations (real problems).
Now we are seeing history repeat itself this time in forms of scandal (steroid use trials) and a concern about who will be where next season like as if it was SO important. People have forgotten to put there problems in perspective and seem to care more about what is being "thrown at them" than trying to fix up the real problems that are being neglected.
C.
Ideas of Fame and Fortune
Fame, yes it seems that our egoistic tendencies have us going crazy for being in the spotlight. The motto is such "Anything to be in the spotlight we want that moment that we can revel in the acceptance of others and think we are at peace with our desires." Let me ask you a question "do you think those who are famous are happy with there lives?" I am pretty sure Britney Spears or other similar people who had there mishaps being released to the public are not happy with fame. I am sure that the paparazzi can get in the way of there life so do you think you really want to be famous?
Fortune it seems to me in this time we live in is only about owning: a mansion, BMW Sports Car and having just a lot of money in the bank and all that jewelry. This makes us blind to what our individual idea of what fortune is. Fortune is defined by you, the things you are truly grateful for and not by the idea of "fortune" defined by an ego feeding society.
V. As Above; So Below
Everything in your life has a corresponding larger problem above. For example, you are in conflict with an enemy or someone whom you do not like. They pick on you and call you names, they pick on you because, you are insecure about name calling and because of that you are in a conflict both with yourself which is the insecurity and the person calling you names.
Now scale that up to an international level, a war might start because of fears over losing their own land, resources or a reputation which allows the gruesome system of killing to continue on and on everyday. At the national level there is insecurity about there own national security. It needs to be worked peacefully and can actually truly benefit the public.
Society is the individual and the individual is society. Change starts with you! You are part of society and society is part of you. You think the same way as society thinks. Society thinks as you think. Change and individuality starts when you start something so controversial to the rest of society that it can bring change to the world around you!
For those who read The Gospel of Thomas you will know this one. However, this maybe the first time you hear this and might be confused by it don't worry I have an explanation set in case you do not understand. "The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us, how will our end come?" Jesus said, "Have you found the beginning, then, that you are looking for the end? You see, the end will be where the beginning is. Congratulations to the one who stands at the beginning: that one will know the end and will not taste death." This should not be taken literally! For we all die but its meaning is metaphorical!
If you cannot understand what I just said, here is another way to grasp what I am saying and although I am no science major I have done some research into mechanical operations and I found one compelling piece of evidence to show that the system will not last forever. It is called The Second Law of Thermodynamics
