Special Kitty Chicken and Cheese Moist Cat Treats are a feline favorite in my household. I bought these on sale for only 50 cents at Wal-Mart. I thought I'd give them a try because my cats are finicky towards certain treats. I brought the treats home and called my two cats into the room. I opened the package and they were automatically drawn into the scent coming from the jar. First I gave Crackerjack one and he hurried and ate it down real fast. Then I tried to give Tex one, but before I could drop it he was eating it out of my hand. Most people know that the majority of cats will not eat out of your hand. Well Tex will if it is something that he really likes. I actually fed them three treats a piece.

I put the jar up on our entertainment stand because we try to keep both dog treats and cat treats handy for our pets. The next time I even walked near the jar, the two cats were following me and begging for the treats. Whenever I open the jar they come running because they can hear it open and smell the treats. I have never seen them beg for treats like these.

There are many things about these treats that I like. First they are very affordable because at full price they are only one dollar. Second, they are easy to find because Wal-Mart actually manufactures the brand. And with that being said every Wal-Mart carries these in their pet treat aisle. Third, my cats love them and they are actually soft. The treats will not hurt my cats. The treats are not so hard that they will cut their gums.

The treats are made from primarily wheat flour and animal byproducts. They also actually have beef listed as the third ingredient. I like that they are made mainly out of beef. This is why the treats smell so good and the cats like them so well. I like the fact that right on the jar it says that there is no less than 15% of crude protein. This is a treat that has nutritional value! The only thing that I find funny is that beef is listed as the third ingredient, but this is Chicken and Cheese flavored treats. The chicken is included in the animal byproducts.
