Speidi Divorce Ahead?

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt first made their appearance on The Hills, a reality tv show. The two always thrived off of drama, stirring up trouble and arguments wherever they went. The Hills is now winding down in the last season, and Heidi and Spencer know they have to find a way to make money.

They did try other avenues - both Spencer and Heidi tried to break into the music industry with no luck. Spencer's rap song was a complete bust, but at least he didn't promote it or expect it to be great. Heidi's flop was much bigger. She used a breast augmentation announcement to get people to watch her video (that Spencer shot), but no one was watching after they heard the music. Heidi landed a role opposite Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler in the movie Just Go For It that she's working on. Only time will tell if she'll have more luck with acting than with music.

With all Heidi's recent surgery, her body image perception has come into question. She has changed so much she has hardly any real Heidi left, and yet she still would consider another surgery in the future. Also in question is what Spencer's role is in the surgery drama. Is he supporting her blindly, just because he'd do anything she says? Is he behind the surgeries to make her more attractive to him?

If nothing else, the two have stuck together this whole time. But that may be about to change.

Recently, Montag fired Spencer as her manager. According to People Magazine, she told Jay Leno at the time, "I don't really want men telling me what to do and where to go."

Questioned about their relationship, Heidi admitted that she has considered divorce, but quickly countered with a reassurance that she was being overly dramatic at the time and they have a great relationship. But isn't that Heidi and Spencer's life? Overly dramatic is what they do.

Is the divorce talk real, or did Heidi and Spencer just need another way to stay in the spotlight? No one could put it past these two to fake a rocky relationship just to get some press. After all, they don't believe there's any such thing as 'bad press'. It's all attention, which is what they want.

If Heidi and Spencer divorce, maybe they would stop feeding off of each others' need for attention and calm down a little. More likely, a Heidi and Spencer divorce would mean more publicity for the two feigning a fight over non-existent assets.

Either way, hopefully the two will find something they're good at that pays them, otherwise we're all in for a long ride of listening to Heidi and Spencer Pratt's drama.
