When it's time for the student to learn a new set of spelling words, they go to the site, search for your name or the title of the spelling list for that week and their spelling words will appear.
They can have their spelling words read to them. They can play games using their spelling words, and they can take test. They have eight games that the child can play to study their spelling words. The games are Word Search, Hang Mouse, Unscramble, Audio Word Match, Which Word, Missing Letter, Crossword, and Unscramble Sentence. That will keep your child busy. If your child loves games, then this would be a great way to teach your child their spelling words.
The Teach Me section is great too because they spelling words are read to the child. That saves you time by not having to read over the words. If you're home schooling more than one child, you need to save as much time as possible. I know with me, I have a full day of school.
When you sign up as a teacher, you will also have access to the forums. On the forums you can talk to other teachers and parents. You can discuss just about anything. You can also get new ideas for spelling and other things.
Creating an account is easy. Visit their site and click the teacher link. On the right side of the page you will see a description of what they have to offer. After reading the description, you can sign up. At the top of the page you will see the Register link. Click that link to begin your registration. On the next page you will need to select if you're a teacher, home school parent / teacher, or if you're just registering for the forums. Select the option of your choice and click the Next button.
