Obama ain't gonna fix it
And neither is McCain
It's like trying to stop the rain
But YOU have the power!
To teach the kids
To help the skids
To plant a tree
Feed the hungry
Pick up some trash
Donate some cash
Cuz' "One on one"
Is the way it's done!
Obama ain't gonna help ya
You gotta help YOURSELF
McCain won't solve your problems
So get down off yer shelf
Yes
It's YOU!
Only YOU
Have the power
to help
to hinder
to heal
to hurt
Everything
And Everyone you touch
So, how 'bout it?
How will you treat those who blunder into your orb?
Just imagine:
6 billion Spheres of Influence
Enlightening and empowering
All that pass through them?
So quit looking to the Cults of Personality in DC for answers!
For the answers lie within us all.
You say "I can't"
But I say "YOU WON'T"
Are you a living, breathing, feeling, thinking Sphere
Or just another empty ball?

Thanks for hitting the nail on the head. I have toyed with not voting in this one because the further they are apart, the closer they are together. We need to stand as individuals, as you so eloquently write, lead by example and the folks in DC may get it right. Regardless, it is much better to look in the mirror and see empowerment rather than a person playing the role of a victim for no good reason. Very strong and yet not preaching or scaring people into it. "Motivational" would be the word!!!! Excellent work on MANY levels. -J
