Spider Man 4: Can We Expect Another Big Seller to Hit the Silver Screen?

It's no secret that there have been some pockets made a little deeper by the franchise of the Spiderman movies, based off of the Marvel Comics superhero. It all started back in 2002, with the release of the first Spiderman Movie, and two more movies quickly followed suit.

Unlike most trilogies, this one kept the cast consistent with Tobey Maguire playing Peter Parker in all three movies, and the actress Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane, Spiderman's romantic interest. In fact, most of the cast members were signed on for those three movies, but the director, Sam Raimi, considered each movie individually.

These first three ferociously popular movies are supposed to be part of a larger six movie scheme, and why not, each one has made a very tidy sum.

The rumor has hit the web (no pun intended) that the release of Spiderman Four is quickly approaching!

So when is the box office hit supposed to come to a theater near you? While there are no concrete dates set down, it is estimated that it will probably be released in either 2009, or 2010, undoubtedly in the summer.

The worry behind this anticipated new movie is the cast and director, will Maguire, Dunst, Raimi and all the others movies goers have come to love return for this newest project?

Raimi has many exciting options reportedly open to him coming up, including the prequel to Lord of the Rings, which would not allow time for him to be involved with Spiderman Four (ew).

The facts are not out yet just who is going to do it! Many of the actors have been reported to say they won't work on the movie if it's under another director, so everyone is of course eager to find out just who that's going to be.

On the flip side, Raimi has been quoted as saying, he doesn't know if he would want to be involved without Maguire and Dunst! moviesonline

Another mystery shrouding Spiderman 4 is the actual plot. It's no secret that Spiderman has enemies, there are a slew of them waiting in the wood work, each of which would work well in the next movie.

For example Venom, Lizard, Electro and others. Venom seems to be the popular choice online in forums and discussion boards movies.

Regardless of the details (of which so few are known), fans are definitely excited, if not a little worried about how the next three (possible) movies of this beloved money making hit will turn out, when and if!
