The spider sits so patiently. All she does is wait.
Is she wasting time or playing games
or waiting for a date?
Is she wasting time or playing games
or waiting for a date?
She might be dreaming, sleeping in peace
Thinking of her web full of tasty flies,
that she will use to make a pie
and have a jolly feast.
The spider has learned
that sometimes we have to wait on
all good things to come
We need to learn to take our time
to get rewards, for good things we
have done.
So don't give up when things take time
Think of the little spider
Who takes her time and sits patiently
To get some fly pie inside her.
