Spin-off Ideas for MTV's Popular Show the Jersey Shore

MTV hit reality TV gold when it came out with The Jersey Shore. Now in it's 4th season, MTV is beginning to role out series spin-offs. Snooki will be starring in an MTV reality show before season 4 actually begins. MTV must be aware that The Jersey Shore cast will not stay together forever. Each cast member has built themselves a reputation that can sustain its very own show. Here are a couple of ideas for some Jersey Shore spin-offs.

1. The Jersey Shore Periodic Table Of Elements.

The premise for this spin-off is simple. Contestants would challenge one another on this game show that features the periodic table of elements. Each week, the two challengers would choose an element for their opponent. Then the opponent would have to accurately relate that element to the correct Jersey Shore cast member. For example, an opponent might choose the element 'Li," which is lithium. The opponent would then have to correctly guess how lithium is connected to a member of Jersey Shore. In this case, the correct answer for lithium would be that it's the medication Ronnie should be on to help control his schizophrenia. Due to the fact there is some education involved, this show would be disqualified from running on MTV and would be relegated to one of it's sister channels.

2. HairBusters

This Jersey Shore spin-off would star the very popular Pauly D. Similar to the highly rated MythBusters on the Discovery Channel, this spin-off would focus on objects and contraptions that can penetrate the hair of Pauly D. Players would have 30 minutes to build a tool that they believe would be strong enough to bust through Pauly's hair. No objects are off limits. However, explosives are limited. If somebody actually wins, they'll receive a free Jersey Shore soundtrack album and a gift card from iTunes.

3. Where In The World Is Angelina Whatshername?

Teams of 3 search the globe to find Angelina. Don;t remember cast member Angelina? Neither do the contestants. In the same vane as Road Rules. Teams would compete for money and clues to assist in their search to find Angelina. Clues include pictures of Angelina and the address of the apartment she currently lives in. As a twist, Contestants will have to take a picture of Angelina with trash bags full of clothing.

4. Anything For Money

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino travels from New Jersey to Los Angeles to meet with a low rent agent. The two team up in a reality TV madcap where "The Situation" tries to sell his trademark name and brand to any product on the market. This reality TV show seems to have already started taping, as there is a cologne for desperate men being marketed by Mike Sorrentino. Other products "The Situation" is willing to shill include car oil, political candidates with no chance of winning, and the re-branding of RC Cola.

5. Wrestle-maniacs With Snooki

Watch Snooki as she enters the world of professional once again. This time on her own terms. Snooki and a gang of gorilla juice heads will headline this pro wrestling show. Snooki will also be wrestling, but only after downing several long island ice teas and showing the crowd her underwear. In addition, if you like man on woman violence, you're in luck. Taking a cue from the infamous punch her around the world on the first season of Jersey Shore, each episode of Wrestle-maniacs will feature a woman getting pummeled at a bar.

Obviously, this list of potential spin-offs of the popular MTV show The Jersey Shore is a farce. However, in the state the television production companies are in today, you never know what might show up on your television set. I'm most hopeful for The Jersey Shore Periodic Table Of Elements. Regardless, I doubt season 4 will be the last time we hear from The Jersey Shore cast.
