On a recent Wednesday, a friend and I visited Fort Worth's Spiral Diner & Bakery.

We were looking forward to trying their newest dish, Nachos made with vegan 'cheese'. They did not disappoint! The plates were full of beautiful goodness! Fresh tortilla chips topped with 'cheese' and 'meat' , jalepenos, olives, corn, guacamole, and sour cream! It was absolutely delicious!

On previous visits to the Spiral, we enjoyed the seitan wrap, Spiral burger, the Jamaican Jerk B-B-Q Sandwich and their cupcakes. All were well prepared, delivered promptly, and yummy!

One of the things I like the most about the spiral is their staff. They are all young activists, friendly, offbeat, and caring. Kudos to my 2 favorite Spiral folks, Ramsey Sprague and Cri!

According to their Web site, Spiral Diner's prices are set as low as they can possibly go. Our goal is not to make tons of profit; it is to provide the community with tasty vegan food at a reasonable cost. Our goal is also to pay everyone working at Spiral a decent wage. We will never charge more than we absolutely have to in order to pay the bills. So when you eat at Spiral you know you are getting high quality food from happy employees.

And the Spiral diner is 100% vegan... which means that no animal products are ever used (no meat, milk, eggs, honey, casein, etc), which makes their food not only delicious, but good for you! And 100% cruelty-free.

The Spiral Diner and Bakery is located at 1314 W. Magnolia in Fort Worth, Texas. There is also a Dallas location at 1101 N. Beckley.

Whether your a vegan, a vegetarian, or just a person wanting a good healthy meal, I highly recommend the Spiral Diner & Bakery.
