For several years I wanted to write down and post some crochet patterns and share some of my pharmacy knowledge, but I wasn't sure how to get started. When I discovered AC, it seemed perfect, and I was off...   View profile

I'm a lefty, so I end up with spirals going clockwise out from the center. The close-up pictures have been flipped as if they were crocheted by a righty. The photo with 2 dishcloths has not been flipped.

So much nicer than those weave and loom things I make now. :)

Cool pattern! I make and use crocheted dishcloths all the time- I'll have to try this one!

These really do hold up well with repeated use. But if you want to make a rectangle, make the beginning chain longer. I crocheted large rectangular afghan by starting with 16 chains, but I thought the spiral wasn't obvious enough, so I posted it as a dishcloth pattern. - Thanks for you comment!

Do you think that I could do this and just lengthen the sides to make a decorative dish towel?? (I'm wary of actually using these!)
