Spiritual Living 101 - Sacrifice in the Name of Satan Will Not Bring Wealth

Fake Satanists Believe the Devil Will Make Them Rich

Briana Blair
A number of people start "following Satan" because they think he will bring the wealth and success they can't achieve through normal means. It's an insane thought, but some go to great lengths in that belief. It's not uncommon for people to be lured into cults or similar groups under the belief that some demon or deity can bring them wealth and popularity. However, this is a misconception perpetuated by false religions, and it is a dangerous one.

Luckily, I haven't had any personal contact with the evil crazy type of pseudo-Satanists that are out there, but I know that they exist. They show up in movies and the news, and the things they'll do in the name of Satan are atrocious. The simple truth is that neither Satan, nor any other God, is going to make you rich, no matter what you do. it is unfortunate that these people, and these beliefs exist. False Satanism and the desire to be rich can lead to the deaths of innocent people.

We've seen it in film and heard it on the news: people calling themselves Satanists and killing in the name of mass riches. What they don't realize it that nothing in life is free. No God or Demon is going to reward wasting a life. Only self-sacrifice (hard work, prayer, giving up possessions, etc.) will do anything. The idea that you can kill someone and be rewarded with massive wealth is insane beyond belief. Unfortunately, cults and their leaders will use people's greed and depression to manipulate them into acts of murder. Sometimes people, especially those in their teens and twenties who are suffering abuse or social ostracism, will also turn to such methods on their own in a desperate attempt to change their lives.

No real Satanist would even consider killing for money, so if you hear someone claiming to be a Satanist and thinking of a ritual to sacrifice someone, that's a sure sign that they're just a confused (and possibly deranged) poser, or possibly something more dangerous. Real Satanists know they have to go out and get what they want, no higher (or lower) power is just going to hand it to them. The rest of us are usually equally aware that if we want something, Gods may lead us in the right direction, but they're not going to hand us what we want on a silver platter.

Satanists aren't the only ones who ask their God for piles of money, I'm sure most of us have done it at least once before we came to our senses. Some people, such as Pagans, will perform rituals to attract wealth into their lives, and in some cases prayer, by a person of any faith, will result in a surge of funds, but we all know that the best way to get what we want in life is to work hard for it and have faith that our efforts will pay off. Satanic cults and misguided youth acting out will often go against logic, offering the "easy" answer. For some, committing murder in the name of Satan sounds better than prayer and hard work, and they believe it will offer faster results.

If you need money or want to be rich, don't think that becoming a Satanist is going to do anything for you. Most of what you'll find will be useless, and not even connected to the actual Satanic faith. If you can find a real Satanist they'll probably tell you to get a job, do whatever else you can to make money, and get what you want that way. And that's the best advice anyone can give. Faith can help you achieve your goals, but no devil or deity is going to just hand you massive riches, especially not in exchange for taking a life. Murder in the name of Satan, or any other deity, is not acceptable under and circumstances.
