Splashed on Paper

Jeremy C
Blindly I sit
Guided only by inspiration
Words pouring to paper
Unseen to eye and light
Only to be recalled in harshest glares later on
Really, is there true regret?
There are actions taken up
In urgent desperation
Splashing across the paper of our lives
That flare of purple marking that first love
A tinge of gold around a finger
Envy's green tempered by
A dawning orange of realization
To know you had it all along
Waiting in darkness for the coming of light
Do we really want to see our paper?
Or is the worse sin a paper that is snow white?
