Splosion Man was a game that surprised me from the first second of gameplay. Rarely do I buy a game before I finish playing the demo, but that wasn't the case with Splosion Man. Right away after purchasing the title I was hooked. I played completely through it with in a couple of days. If I could have gotten it done in one I would have, but there is so much stuff to do it is a huge game. It has the perfect amount of difficulty were it keeps the game fun and not overwhelming. The game has about 50 levels and three bosses which will give you enough time to fall in love with the little guy as I did. Now this game might not be for everyone. I like the game cause it takes good reaction time and problem solving to exceed.

Now, I can honestly say when I beat a game I don't go back to beat it on a harder difficulty because I feel as though I got the idea, but with Splosion Man it was not the same. There are so many way to keep you playing, The single player alone will give you days of fun, With the Two difficulties and trying to collect all the cakes and beat the par times of each level, the fun is limitless. I am currently playing the hardcore difficulty and still don't see myself getting tired of it. I haven't tried out the multi-player but from what I know there is another set of 50 level and you can play with up to 3 friends.

With all this praise, we must look at the bad. The game can be a bit confusing sometimes and a lot of gamers might not like that. The point of the game is to not be killed and the odds are against you, so prepare to die a lot. On the normal difficulty there are a lot of check points to keep the game moving. I haven't had many technical problems with the game, but only once the character disappeared off the screen completely. My biggest complaint about the game is sometimes the camera zooms out so you can get a better look at the level but if you are playing on a smaller TV it makes Splosion Man look like an ant, this might annoy you. Also I heard that there was some lag issues with the online multi-player, which is kind of a big thing when you need to be spot on with your friends.

So overall, I highly suggest this game to gamers of all ages. It is fun and a great game. For only 800 Microsoft Points($10) you can get Splosion Man from the Xbox Live Arcade.
