Spongebob Squarepant's Karate Island - a Great Movie for the Whole Family

Leanne Bloms
Spongebob Squarepant's Karate Island is a great movie for the whole family. There is nothing better than to watch a TV series without commercials. I am a huge fan of Spongebob Squarepants and so is my daughter so when this movie came out last year, I had to purchase it. I think we have every Spongebob DVD that is available. I think that Spongebob is a great influence on children because all of the episodes I have seen always teach great morals and values. Plus, who can resist him, he is so darn cute!

This DVD contains 7 episodes and has a run time of 83 minutes. It came out in 2006 and is rated G. Along with the 8 episodes that it features, it has a bonus of Spongebob's Karate Chops Game. The episodes on this DVD are as follows.

Squidbob Tentaclepants:

This episode is about Sandy creating a new invention and Squidward and Spongebob cannot get away from eachother because they are stuck together. Squidward gets really mad at Sandy because he cannot stand Spongebob and now they are stuck together.

Krusty Towers:

Mr. Krabs, Spongebob's boss, decides to open a hotel and the only thing on his mind is to charge customers through the roof and make a lot of money.

Mrs. Puff, You're Fired:

Spongebob Squarepants has to pass his next driving test of Mrs. Puff will be fired and she will be replaced.

GhostHost:

The Flying Dutchman fears that he may have lost his touch because he cannot scare anyone anymore. Spongebob offers that he stay with him until he can get back on his feet. What he didn't know is that the Flying Dutchman has no intentions of leaving anytime soon.

Wishing you Well:

Mr. Krabs decides to put up a wishing well outside the Krusty Krab to make more money. Spongebob is placed at the bottom of the well to collect all the money but the only thing he can think of when he is down there is how he wants to make everyone's wish come true.

Karate Island:

Spongebob is invited to Karate Island to take part in competitions. Thilled to be invited, he takes Sandy along who thinks it is a scam because Spongebob is no good at karate.

New Leaf:

Plankton opens a gift shop up and gives up on the restaurant business since he is not making any money. Or is he just trying to scheme Krabs to steal his secret formula?

I recommend you purchase Spongebob Squarepant's Karate Island to add to your DVD collection. It is better than watching it on TV because you do not have to worry about commercials. It is a great gift idea as well. My daughter and I love to watch this movie with a bowl of popcorn or treats. It is one of the only movies I know of that she will sit through the whole thing! Which is pretty good considering that she is only 2 years old.
