So let's start with the story line. A famous movie producer comes to bikini bottom to film his newest movie. He needs actors to play the parts of the characters in his new movie (about Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy). You choose a character and compete for rolls in the movie. Whoever wins the most points in 3 challenges (minigames) gets that particular part.
The game can be played in both multiplayer and single player. Both of these modes can compete in a story mode. The story mode for each of these modes is the same.
Next let us move on to: -the graphics. They are not the best I have seen for the Ps but they are colorful and don't skip frames. In this game, a frame skip could cost you a minigame, which could cost you a role in the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy Movie.
Next lets move on to the minigames. There are over 30 minigames to complete, all of which are extremely difficult. There are minigames like flipping patties (simple enough) or more complicated minigames like the game where you have to bring weights to Larry the lobster for him to lift. You have to bring the combination that Larry wants, as well as help him hold them up by pressing the X button at the correct time when the .meter is inside the green bar. The minigames are preformed as a team of two or individually (depending on the minigame). The flipping Patties game is a team game, because you flip patties to your partner, who catches them while flipping patties form his or her grill to you. In this minigame, you have to both catch and flip patties to your partner. There are also individual minigames, such as one where you inflate your pants to fly through obstacles. The first person to the finish line wins the most points toward becoming the actor to play the next part in Mermaid Man and, Barnacle Boy.
There is no multiplayer co-op. Though you will often have to work with the person who you are playing with, the objective is to beat them in a minigame.
SpongeBob Squarepants Lights, Camera, Pants! Is a fun game that lends itself to all ages. You can be 10 or 100 and like the minigames that make up Lights, Camera, Pants! This game will cost about 15 dollars on EBay, and about 20 dollars from a--store like Wal-Mart or Amazon.com. this is a fun game and I suggest it to anyone who likes or has ever liked the SpongeBob Squarepants Series.
