Sport Utility Vehicle Review: The Chevy Tahoe

If you're looking for a new vehicle for your family then you should check out the Chevy Tahoe. The Tahoe is large enough for most families, and you'll still have plenty of room for your groceries. In this article, I will review the Chevy Tahoe.

Type of vehicle.

The Chevy Tahoe is one of the larger sport utility vehicles(SUV) that are available for you to buy. So if you need a lot of extra room then the Chevy Tahoe will probably be perfect for you or your family. You can fit six people into the Tahoe. Three in the front and three in the back seat. On top of this, there is even more room behind the back seat for your gear, dogs; etc.

Cost.

Prices will vary depending on different factors such as age, and the features that you select to go with your Tahoe. But due to the cost of gasoline being so high, you can usually find a bargain. Anyway, expect to pay between twenty and thirty thousand dollars for a brand new Tahoe. If gas prices continue to rise then you may come to regret this purchase. But if they do not rise, then you will have an excellent vehicle that will last for years.

Gas mileage.

The gas mileage is definitely a disadvantage for those of you who are looking for a gas efficient vehicle. Keep in mind that this is an SUV, so you shouldn't expect the gas mileage to be that good. As for the exact gas specifications, the Tahoe gets fifteen miles per gallon in the city and twenty miles per gallon on the highway. While this isn't great, it isn't that bad either. Especially for an SUV.

Comfortable.

As for the comfort factor, the Chevy Tahoe excels at it. There is more than enough room in this vehicle for just about anyone. In fact, there may be too much extra space for you. However, if you're a tall individual then you'll appreciate all of the extra head room.

Another nice feature that this vehicle can come with is the temperature adjustment feature. It works like this. If you're on the left side and feel hot or cold then just turn the knob until you reach your desired temperature. But the driver will not feel the difference because on his side nothing has changed. It's a nice feature to have.

Safety.

The Chevy Tahoe is a fairly safe vehicle to drive. It comes with standard air bags and seat belts, which will probably save your life in a serious accident if they're used properly. And the Tahoe's large size makes it feel like you're a lot safer than you would be in a smaller car. People will definitely be more aware of you if you drive a Tahoe, and they'll be more respectful as well.

The only real problem with this vehicle is the rollover risk. The Tahoe is raised off the ground albeit more than other vehicles, so try to avoid sharp turns if possible(especially when it's wet). But other than the rollover risk, the Tahoe is quite safe.

As you can see, the Chevy Tahoe isn't for everyone. But if you are one of those people who needs a lot of extra room then you should definitely consider purchasing the Tahoe. It will provide you with all of the room that you'll ever need.
