Spotlight on Upcoming Exhibits at Long Island University's Downtown Brooklyn Campus
Neighborhood: Downtown Brooklyn
Brooklyn, NY 11205
United States of America
Long Island University's (LIU) Downtown Brooklyn campus will showcase work created by Brooklyn artist Richard Staub in its Humanities Gallery. Starting October 3, the exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Curated by the art department, this event is accessible to both students and the community. Staub's sculptures include conventional materials that are transformed into taped, sewn and wrapped pieces. The pieces will be on display until November 4. The Salena and Resnick Galleries located in the Library Learning Center will also exhibit paintings, drawings and a variety of visual art made my students.

The Downtown Brooklyn campus is located at intersection of DeKalb and Flatbush Avenues. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Nancy Grove, gallery director, at 718-488-1198.
