Cincinnati Bengals (-4.5) vs. Houston Texans
Bengals proved they are the real deal last week against the Ravens. Cedric Benson leads the league in rushing and OchoCinco is playing like that Chad Johnson guy used to in Cincy. The Texans let one slip away from them in Arizona, and are facing a tougher team in the Bengals. Bengals 27-17.
Jacksonville Jaguars (-10) vs. St. Louis Rams
This might look like an opportunity for the Rams to actually win a game this year, but don't count on it. The jaguars looked awful against the Seahawks last week, but they are 10 times better than the Rams. Jones-Drew and Garrard will have career days, and the Rams will lose heavily once again. I think everyone should just let Limbaugh buy the team (especially his enemies)...maybe the league owners like him and that's why they will decline his bid, who knows. Jaguars 30-13.
New York Giants (+3) @ New Orleans Saints
I have this game as my underdog lock of the week. The Giants are straight cash on the road, and the Saints don't have the defense to stop Manning, Jacobs, and Bradshaw. Expect the Giants defense to make Brees panic, even though on most weeks he's as cold as ice. Giants 27-24. I would be careful of the over/under line due to each teams ability to run the ball as well, this game could turn out to be anything but a shootout.
Carolina Panthers (-3) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Panthers had a nice comeback victory against the Redskins in week five, and will get their second win over the Buccaneers in week 6. The Buccaneers can't seem to get anything done, and have an inexperience QB behind center in Johnson. The Panthers will have their running game leading the attack, even if Delhomme continues to struggle. Carolina 24-10.
Philadelphia Eagles (-14.5) @ Oakland Raiders
Can I really be confident picking the Eagles to win by two touchdowns? Yes. Jamarcus Russell looks like a fourth string quarterback in a bad football movie after the first three QB's have all been injured by the opposing teams star linebacker. The Raiders have nothing going for them, and that won't change this week, the Eagles roll out big. Eagles 45-10.
