Spring

Genesis
You can smell it in the air
When you wake up one day
It almost happens overnight
While all the people are out of sight
The feeling in your nose
Is that like no other
Some of us may sneeze
As our senses begin to flutter
But the feeling that surrounds
Nothing could be better
The tulips
The dogwoods
Baby birds all a flutter
The wildflowers
And oak trees
Streams filled with melted snow water
What a blessing unknown
So taken for granted
The first day spring comes
To fill the air on the mountain

I am a mother of two boys, and a wife. I enjoy being a stay at home mom. The rest of it has kind of fallen into my lap. I am blessed for what I have anything more from here is gravy.  View profile
