The Five Hottest Boots for Spring for Women

Christi Bowers
Spring is going to be here in the blink of an eye. Spring is the season when things spring back into life, after a long, cold winter. The flowers start to bloom, baby birds are born, and the weather starts to warm. Spring is also a time to think about fashion, and what you can wear to be at the top of the fashion hit list.

Boots are an in thing right now. There are all kinds of boots that can be worn in the year 2009. This article will show you the hottest five boots for Spring 2009.

1. Remember the Ugg boots that everyone sported this winter? They were warm, yet breathable. Well, Ugg boots are still the thing for Spring too. The styles are just a little different. The big thing for Spring will be the Ugg rain boot collection. The great thing about Ugg boots is that they keep your feet cool. This means that they really are a year round boot. Their popularity puts them at the top of the list. You can find the boots at the Ugg Australia website, and order directly from the website.

2. Peep Toe Boots. The Peep Toe boot came into fashion in Fall of 2008. This is basically a boot that has the toes cut out of it. It's like a sandal with no toes, but in the form of a boot. The style of boot ranges from a cowboy style boot, to black leather, to anything you can dream of. To see the models on the runway sporting these boots, they look very fashionable and hip. They go with skirts, pants and dresses.

The reason these boots are a must have for spring, is because the weather is warming. Having the toes cut out of the boot allows your foot to be cooler. Some boots cause your feet to sweat inside, but this allows air in and out of the boot, at least near the front of the foot and the toe area.

Some do not prefer the peep toe boot because it does not offer as much warmth. The boot is certainly not the choice for very cold weather. Keep in mind that you can wear pantihose with the boots just as you would toeless sandals, to add to the warmth factor.

The peep toe boot was featured at Fashion Week Spring 2009, and one place you can find it is on the Steve Madden website. There are a few different styles available in suede and leather that sell for about $100 to $150. You can order the boots directly from the website.

3. Slouchy chain accented boots. These boots were also featured at Fashion Week 2009 Spring. These are sold by Austin Jade, which is only available in stores that sell Austin Jade products. To find out which stores sell them, you can visit the Austin Jade website. Purchases can also be made directly from the website.

4. Cowboy boots. Cowboy boots are making a comeback. You can find them almost anywhere, including stores like JCPenney and Macy's Department stores. The boots are also available online through the JCPenney and Macy's websites. These boots are durable and are always made of leather. Cowboy boots go with skirts and jeans, as well as with loose fitting dresses with white panty hose underneath.

5. Any extravagant boot that has lots of extras. For example, a snakeskin boot with lots of texture is hip. A boot with any print, like a polka dotted boot or a flannel shirt patterned boot is in. Think detail and you've got it. These boots can be found anywhere, you just have to look for something original. Try stores that sell lingerie and boots, such as Hagerstown, MD's Locked Door shop. Of these, the most popular is the finger moccasin boot, that looks like a moccasin boot with frills hanging off of the boot. The finger moccasin boot is also made by Austin Jade, and can be purchased on her website.
