Focus on ads in your newspaper, TV, magazines and wherever you go. Perhaps you disregard the jewelry scene. You're not able to spend money on "wants." Several jewelry combos can change the look of that black t-shirt or your favorite sweater. You need not spend your dollars on new clothes for the 2011 fashion trend scene.
Take a little time to go through all the jewelry you have gathered through the years. Lay it out and follow through the following five ways to bring your wardrobe up to date.
1. Real jewelry and fun jewelry can be mixed together.
2. Combining different metals is fun and trendy.
3. Group agreeable but not matching pieces together.
4. Bundle your jewelry.
5. One or a couple of new pieces may give your wardrobe the 2011 style lift.
I will expand on each of the above suggestions.
1. You always wear a little diamond necklace at your throat. Add a longer necklace or two. This total look will enhance your beautiful and special diamond necklace.
2. If you have gold, silver, wooden or blended color bracelets, try wearing two or three of them together. This could include very narrow and elegant bracelets, or larger chunky bracelets.
3. If you have a jewelry set you've always worn together, try a new look. purBlend blues and greens, pinks and purples or a variety of spring colors to accent those bright spring shirts. You'll feel a spring in your foot as your walk out the door.
4. By bundling your jewelry think total look. A shorter chunky necklace bordered by a couple of longer accent necklaces is the perfect spring knock-out. Add a couple of single strand bracelets to a more chunky bracelet making a stronger and more 2011 fashion statement. If you choose to wear simpler bracelets and necklaces, you may want to choose larger earrings to show off your style.
This bundled look works well for daytime or evening styles. For special party drama, pair a couple of long shimmery necklaces to enhance each of the single necklaces. Add a couple of very thin bracelets to your stunning diamond bracelet. Maybe your style includes a couple of punchy rings instead of necklaces or bracelets.
5. By taking time to know your own jewelry groupings, you'll quickly be able to accent the clothes in your closet. Stand in front of the mirror and decide if you'd like an additional piece of jewelry [or more] to supplement your present stash. If you don't have a long necklace, think about purchasing one that can be blended into oodles of great looks. Can it be doubled, lassoed, mixed with other long and short necklaces or even twisted on your arm to become a stand-out bracelet?
Many times we just run out the door with the same necklace around our neck. You will love the compliments received when people notice your finished style and the statement you make. It will make their day better too.
