Make mud pies- Getting messy is something that kids love to do. They don't care about laundry and germs. Dress your kids in play clothes to get dirty outside. Roll your sleeves up and join in the fun!

Plant a garden- Children love gardens and watching things grow. Buy some seeds for your children to plant. They can help dig the holes and love using the hose. Let your kids have their own little plot!

Kite Flying- Take your kites to the park on a nice windy day. Find a space that is open and flat. Watch them dance in the air and soar high in the sky. Kite flying is simple and fun!

Bug watching- Searching for bugs is a great spring activity. The worms all come out when it rains. Try to look under rocks and examine your trees. Look for snails under bushes and leaves!

Puddle jumping- Kids are drawn to puddles like moths to a flame. Let them play in the puddles this spring. Buy some boots and good splash pants and send them outdoors. It can keep them amused for hours!

Go hiking- Hiking with your kids can be fun in the spring. Look for buds on the bushes and trees. Look for beautiful flowers and animal tracks. Find a nest with baby birds!

Find a pond- Find a pond in your city for your kids to explore. Look for algae and birds and fish. Search for turtles and frogs and strange plant life. Catch tadpoles and watch them grow!

Bicycle riding- Dust off your bikes and go riding around. Use those tricycles, big wheels and scooters. Stop using your car when the weather is nice. Buy a kid seat or bicycle trailer!

Visit a farm- Take your kids to a farm to see baby animals. Watch the ducks and the pigs and the sheep. Teach your children what life on a farm would be like. Visit a local petting zoo!

Fishing- Take your kids to the river or lake by your house. Bring your pole and look for bait. Relax and hang out while you wait for a bite. Show your child your tricks of the trade!
Spring is a great season to explore the outdoors. There is so much for children to see. Get active and learn all that spring has to offer. Go biking and fishing and hiking. Take your kids to a farm or the local pond. Search for bugs and fly a kite. Don't let rainy days keep you cooped up in your house. Buy some boots and have fun getting wet!
