Set against the backdrop of a repressive late 19th century Germany, Spring Awakening tells the timeless tale of teenage self-discovery and budding sexuality as seen through the eyes of teenagers.
Spring Awakening swept the 2007 Tony Awards winning seven out of it's eleven nominations including Best Musical and Best Director (Michael Mayer).
Based on the infamous 1891 Frank Wedekind play, Spring Awakening features an electrifying score by Duncan Sheik.
Tickets for the Detroit run are now on sale at all Ticketmaster locations and the Fisher Theatre box office and at www.broadwayindetroit.com.
