There are a number of ways to enjoy spring break Alaska trips. Alaska offers some of the best food, boating, fishing, cruising, culture, and lifestyle in the United States. There are options in Alaska trips for those who want to relax or adventure in a small-town atmosphere, or enjoy the hustle of a major city. In recent months, Alaska has become even more famous due to its Governor Sarah Palin running to be Vice President of the United States.

One of the greatest Alaska trips is to go on an all-inclusive vacation. Alaska Wildland Adventures offers a number of varied options for spring break in Alaska. This guide will review a couple of their tours.

The Alaska 9-Day Grand Journey includes a number of planned activities with some flexibility and choice for participants. For instance, those taking Alaska trips with this tour company can finish their journey in either Anchorage or Fairbanks, allowing plenty of opportunity for independent exploration. The Grand Journey includes an air view of the Alaska Range.

Another popular choice in Alaska trips is a Photo Safari. This allows photo enthusiasts to see and photograph some of the most picturesque spots in the state, and work with a professional photographer to improve your skills. These journeys begin in Fairbanks, and show the best animals, natives, and scenery in Alaska.

Spring break Alaska trips could also focus on going to a fishing lodge, which is also a popular vacation in the state. Talon Lodge and Spa offers the amenities of a modern resort while still holding true to the ideals of a fishing lodge. Talon is especially noted for its salmon and halibut fishing, and offers both fly and sport fishing options.

There are a number of cruise choices for those taking spring break Alaska trips. Alaska Cruises can book virtually any length and type of voyage a spring break traveler could want. There are also combination land and cruise tours available, to show visitors the best of both waters and land in Alaska. For those who fear seasickness, there are also land-only Alaska trips available. An especially popular spring break option is through Norwegian Cruise Lines, and also includes a one-night hotel stay. Many Alaska cruises also visit other spots in the Pacific Northwest, such as Victoria, British Columbia. Oceanside cabins are usually fairly affordable, and offer an unforgettable Alaska experience.

Hard-core spring break adventurers may want to enjoy one of the many motorcycle tours available as part of Alaska trips. With Alaska Motorcycle Adventures you can rent a BMW or Kawasaki motorcycle for independent exploration, or join in a guided tour. This is a great chance for those staying in Anchorage to explore more of the countryside in Alaska.

I'd rather go to Alaska than Florida anytime. Nothing against Florida, but I'd prefer the geography of Alaska.
