A domino effect of styles from spring fashion shows have deposited into retailers inventories. You might be surprised at the new styles available. Trends like skinny jeans are still in and bohemian chic is morphing into heavy accessories like statement jewelry and heavy hand bags.

Amidst spring fashions are new headlining designers like Alexander Wong. His collection features cool fringed, classic black and jean handbags. He also makes a mean skinny jean.

Also making headway are upscale-casual spring shorts and cropped blazer tops by Elizabeth & James, a label by the Olsen twins. Lauren Conrad has some cool skirts in her new collection too. Type these names into your favorite shopping search engine to kill some time in class or in your cube.

What's new and says spring in the beauty aisle? Keep your eyes peeled for new scents by Bond no. 9. The new fragrance line features scents inspired by fashion industry taste makers like Andy Warhol and aromas inspired by New York seasons.
