Spring is Finally Here?
And the morning frost?
How long until Spring
Will really be?
It seems, It took so long
For the winter's cool
To pack up and go.
Will it come back to haunt
Just to re-say hello,
Before it actually says,
Good bye?
I wouldn't be surprised.
Sometimes winter
Just hates to go.
My toes are thawed now
Please leave me alone.
After a close encounter
With a humorous guy
Called Frost Bite.
I'm anxious for winter
To go away and be nice.
I leaped from my chair
Like sitting on a spring.
To go outside
And hear the birds sing.
Out on the lawn
There was no noise
Where are the birds?
I can't hear their voice?
I see wasp and bees
And sigh with relief.
At least that's a sign,
That Spring time
Is here to please.

Yeah! We are getting rain today, and the huge piles of snow are disappearing because of it. Can warm weather be far behind? I think not!!! rcj
I can't wait for it's arrival, but we have snow headed our way on thursday. I guess this is why they say patience is a virtue.
