It never seems to go away
Its getting everything all wet
Many people begin to fret
But spring is about so much more
There is much more at the core
Its about a bran new start
A bran new day to warm the heart
Spring is about growth for all
Living things big and small
Mother nature taking bloom
Cleaning out and making room
All things begin to grow
And poke out from melted snow
Everything starts to wake
Warm sun melts the frozen lake
Smiling faces are everywhere
Spring finally is in the air
Laughter fills the warmer skies
Winters gone the joyous cries
Kids escape the winter blues
New baby animals at the zoos
Moms and dads are having fun
Everyone is enjoying the glorious sun
Spring is here, its here to stay
All the dark clouds have gone away
Gone away for a year
At last spring is finally here
