Although this name has decreased in popularity over the last couple years, who's to say that we are wanting popularity. How about a name that is unique and would make the perfect middle name as well. Azalea means dry earth and has a Latin origin.

Blossom

This name gives us mixed feelings. There are many ways that you can look at this name. For one it is very unique. It seems like a refreshing, yet simple name. If this sounds unique enough for your babygirl, consider it's English origin. The meaning of Blossom is flower-like.

Camellia

Growing by leaps and bounds in popularity, since 2007, you may consider Camellia for your flower inspired babygirl name as well. With it's popularity, there still is a unique ring to this name. Camellia has an Italian decent and it means attendant.

Daisy

This is a name that we can remember from decades ago. There is no denying that this name has been around awhile, yet it still remains to be a unique name. It has a certain 60's era ring to it. It's origins are from English decent and it means day's eye.

Iris

A favorite flower and the fact that it blooms in the spring time, makes it that much more unique for this time of the year. It has increased in popularity over the years. When we hear Iris, it reminds us of a Red Hat ladies club, or something. It is Greek in origin and means the rainbow.

Jasmine

We can't believe that this name has decreased in popularity over the years. You would think that it would be just the opposite. This is a beautiful and unique name originated in Persia and it means jasmine flower. There is also a Disney Princess that is named Jasmine. Consider that when you make your ultimate choice.

Magnolia

A beautiful flower indeed. The magnolia trees are gorgeous and unique within themself. Perhaps you are having a little Louisiana princess and want to name her after the state flower. This is a unique name and such a gorgeous flower. Unsurprisingly this is a French name and it means from the flower.

Rose

If this isn't the most common flower name, then we don't know what is. There is a certain beauty about this name and it makes for the perfect middle name as well. This is a Latin name and means rose bush.

Violet is so pretty. It reminds me of the little purple flower that you can barely touch, because of it's sheer frailness. This name has been popular for many years, yet still remains to be unique. Violet is of Latin origin and means violet flower.

These are such pretty names. I've always liked Jasmine and Violet is pretty too. I also like month names such as April, May and June. There's no risk of having your daughter teased in school with such names!
