Spring Fun in the Brazos Valley

The weather conditions in the Brazos Valley are in full Spring mode and the Bryan-College Station area is gearing up for some great Spring Events for people of all ages.

Brazos Valley Earth Day

Be green in the Brazos Valley! The 15th annual Brazos Valley Earth Day celebration will take place Saturday, April 17th, 2010 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater. Families with children and people of all ages are invited to celebrate being green in the Brazos Valley. Families can enjoy kids crafts and activities, live music, food, and advertising by local vendors. There will be environmental exhibits and displays, composting demonstrations, rainwater harvesting, and presentatins of hybrid and electric vehicles. Cinemark Movie Clubhouse
The College Station Cinemark movie theater located off Earl Rudder Freeway will be showing ten fun films for kids of all ages starting in June. The films are $1 a piece at the box office or $5 for all ten in purchased in advance. Take your kids to enjoy ten weeks of fun films! All movies are rated G or PG. Power Sports Day Camps
Want a little break from your kids and have them exercise? Take them to Power Sports Day Camps located in College Station. Camp ages begin at 2 and up. Camp is held from 9am until 2pm for ages 2-4 and is only $20 a day or $85 a week. Potty trained toddlers are NOT required. Camp is held from 7:30am until 6pm for ages 5 and up and is only $30 a day or $130 for a week. Kids will enjoy gymnastics, field trips, exercise, structured games, arts and crafts, bowling, and movies. Your kids will love this program!
