My garden my dear,
What will you grow for me this year?
Tomatoes along the front, onions in a row and peppers so very near.
Should I keep you simple, or let you go wild.
I am so excited I'm like a young child.
A child you are in a lot of ways,
The way you grow, and take many many days.
Needing lots of love and attention so very often,
My heart like, one for a child, has begun to soften.
You are by baby, my life, my dear.
I will nurture you always, never a need to fear.
