Spring Time
I am standing outside
Seeing many pretty sights
It's a beautiful spring day
Perfect for flying kites
Seeing many pretty sights

The weather is warm
There is a cool breeze
As it passes through
I hear the rustling leaves
The birds are singing
As they fly high
I stop to watch them
As they go by
The buds are blooming
On most of the trees
I hear the buzzing sound
Of all the busy bees
The kids are playing
Having so much fun
I am very glad
That winter is done

Yesterday was gorgeous here. I'm eager for it to be warm enough to start gardening.
That is lovely. I love flying kites with my daughters, but a cold wind in the Spring is not quite as nice as a warm summer breeze.
I'm also glad winter is finally moving on. Spring always makes me feel more inspired and alive. Beautiful poem.
