Every mom in the nation should watch Rita Rocks this spring Mondays on Lifetime at 8:30pm. Rita and Jay Clemens a funny couple who are raising two daughters, Shannon 9 years old, and teenager named Haley. Every mom of daughters faces the problems that are depicted with in this program, yet Rita makes them look so easy to tackle. Rita found her escape from parenthood as a rock star in a garage band. How many of us feel the need to escape occasionally? This funny mom lets us know we are normal and it is okay to be ourselves when we feel the need.

Big Love, this HBO series shown at 10pm EST this spring is a show that is about polygamy but more importantly about different styles of Motherhood. With kids of various ages here, you will see various moms doing child rearing at all different stages. There is a sitcom TV shows with some humor and plenty of drama, and is based on a Mormon family. While I do not agree with the multiple wife theory, I believe this is a worthwhile show because of the characters. They all live like one huge happy family.

In the TV show, My name is Earl, a zany cast of characters make us laugh Thursday nights this spring at 8pm EST on NBC. Although there are no children in this one, it is nice to watch comedy without children occasionally. I think every mom should watch this one, not for parenting techniques, but for the laughs. Parents can watch this one with their older children and spend some quality time together.

Lost which airs new episodes on Wednesday nights at 9 on ABC, has many different characters. A whole planeload of crash survivors adapts to a mysterious Island in this series. There is a baby born on the island, which makes it a TV show where there is the aspect of motherhood, although mom Kate is not the real type of mom. This is a drama and it is seen on Sci Fi on Mondays this spring starting at 8pm with three back-to-back episodes.

The secret life of the American teenager, which airs Mondays on ABC at 8pm EST this spring deals with serious issues that parents of teenagers often deal with. On this season, the TV show will be dealing with the usual topics that plague parents of teenagers such as pregnancy, dating, and the hormones of teens. If anything this series will, show moms are not alone in the struggles of raising teenagers.
This spring you will see all types of moms on TV shows, funny, witty and everything in between. In the case of the zany misguided television characters of my name is Earl, you will want to make sure you raise your kids not to be dingy.

Post a CommentGreat! :-)
cool choices!
When I was traveling, I would catch "Big Love" during its first season. I did enjoy it, liked the characters and the relationships.
Great work.
good list again
Some of them sound interesting, though I doubt I'll watch them. I tend to watch cop/mystery shows.
