Springs Preserve in Las Vegas Will Be the Main Christmas Tree Drop Off for Recycling Your Dry Tree

Springs Preserve Plus 20 Other Sites to Drop Off Your Brittle Christmas Tree

Todd Jacobs
The Springs Preserve will be the main drop off for Christmas tree recycling in the Las Vegas area. There will also be another twenty sites to drop off your dry and brittle Christmas tree. There is no excuse not to recycle your Christmas tree this year as there are plenty of Christmas tree drop off sites in an area near you.

There is no charge for recycling your tree but you must remove your ornaments, hooks, lights, garland and tinsel. Those items will get entangled in the wood chippers and damage them. DO NOT place the tree in a plastic bag. DO NOT bring a flocked tree. The main thing is use common sense and make sure there are no surprises when they go to grind up you Christmas tree. Also do not leave your tree up past New Years, it will be dry before then. Don't take chances.

What happens to your Christmas tree after it has been dropped off? It is grounded into mulch and becomes planting soil for trees and plants. Make sure you take your tree to an approved location and help the environment now and into the future.
