Sprint Wireless Service Customer Review

SDR2010
I have been a Sprint customer for almost three months now; I feel that being a new customer to their service gives me a unique perspective that you will have trouble finding somewhere else. Previously, I was a Verizon wireless customer for almost three years but I decided to make the switch after viewing a Sprint add that stated they could save me over $240.00 a year if I were to come over to Sprint. Since I am someone who wants the most for their money I figured that I would give Sprint a chance. Also, when you first sign a contract with Sprint you have a full month to decide if you are happy with the service and would like to stay. After the first month I felt that the service was pretty much the same as Verizon and so I decided to stay.

Now that I have belonged with this company for three months I can tell you that there are positives and negatives to belonging to each company. First, the reception of the calls that you receive is usually a 9/10 with Sprint. Most times I could not tell that I was using a cellular phone instead of a house phone. There was no noise in my surrounds that I had to talk over as I did with Verizon. With Verizon I would say that I usually had a 6/10 reception and so I was happier with how every one of my calls sounded which was big. However, there is a big positive that I experienced with Verizon and that is the network is very large and this means that you will be able to call all of your friends without having to waste minutes on your plan. This will save your money and also the stress of counting minutes. I would estimate that seven out of every ten people that I know belongs to Verizon. This also made my life easier because I did not have to worry about who I was calling or when I could call them.

When I signed up with Sprint I selected the 7pm nights and this is great for me because I have the ability to call anyone I would like for a period of twelve hours every day without counting minutes. The option does cost an extra $5.00 but it is well worth it. I find Verizon employees to be friendlier but Sprint employees are from India, which makes it hard to find help.

I have been a T-mobile customer for a very long time until 2 months ago. I change my carrier because I moved to a new office location where the tmobile signal was low. I have to admit that I was spoiled with the T-mobile customer care- It was the best. Just recently I spoke to a representative from sprint- asking to explain the confusing additional charges. The representative failed to explain the reason of why the charges were added- then accused me of not listening to him. I can't believe I heard a customer service rep telling a customer that he/she was not listening!!! I was listening but his explaination was a junk- guess what after asking him his name again...there was a pause- then he hanged up! Unbelievably rude! Now sprint is tainted and I cant wait for the year to pass.
