About the LG Lotus Elite: First the phone comes in red or black. I chose the red phone , which has a muted leaf pattern on the body of the phone. It is a flip phone with a full Qwerty keyboard. The phone is rather square in shape. The keys are a pretty good size, and they are white so you can see them better, and don't need a back light to see and type. Also there are 3 quick keys that will take you right to social sites ( like facebook &myspace), there is email and text buttons.
On the screen itself you will find The quick apps tiles in the Carousel, which you can add to or delete. You can customize it to suit you. Both the front screen and the inside screen are a really nice size, so they are really easy to see. This phone is a touch screen as well as a keypad, so you can do both, depending on what you are doing.
The front flip part of the phone is where you can use the touch screen. To unlock it for different functions, you would hit the button on the right side of the phone, or if you received a message, you can just slide the lock button on the screen to the right, and view the message. You can even answer the phone from the front without flipping the phone open.
I really enjoy using the camera and the picture quality is wonderful. Of course the camera has mode options, such as: Color tone , which adjusts the color tone to normal, black & white, negative and sepia. The image control options are for the brightness, you can select auto or manual for this. You can also use the fun frames feature to take a picture, the choices are balloons, clown face, a puzzle colorful puzzle picture frame, pirate hat, a moon with 2 kitties gazing up at it, 2 kitties with bubbles floating around them, and a few more choices as well.
The settings option includes Resolution, Quality, Shutter sound, status bar and night mode. There is also a self timer which is 5 seconds. You can also zoom in on a subject, enable auto send. You can assign pictures to people names or use pictures for a screen saver.
The camcorder is a nice feature, and it is the first time I have had one on my phone. I love it! I have made 4 videos do far. You can also sends the pictures and videos to facebook, myspace and photobucket.

I really love this phone! I use it just like my laptop. I surf the web, read emails, use yahoo messenger, visit youtube, ivillage, facebook, myspace and much more. I upload pics to facebook, and I even uploaded a video of my grandkids. I love making videos! You can take pictures with the camera opened or closed. Closed is good if you are taking a pic of other people, but if you want to take a picture of yourself, you would open the phone. I have to say though sometimes the camera takes a pic on accident that I don't want, and I delete it. You can change the way the phone displays pictures as well, such as a slide show or rotating the pictures or in a straight row and you click on them one at a time.
I can even get alerts from facebook and myspace. This phone has everything I need. Oh and another nice feature of this phone is the speakerphone, which I use quite a bit. The quality is great, nobody ever complains about the quality of the phone, or of the sound when they are on it. I can walk away from the phone and they can still hear me! I use the speakerphone all the time when I am in my truck driving. I also use a bluetooth as well on occasion and that works really well. The ringer volume goes up to no.8 in is very loud, and all my ringtones sound great on my phone, they are not tinny sounding like a lot of other peoples phones that I have heard.
Bottom Line: This is a really great phone! It is well constructed and solid made. I will not be upgrading this phone for a very long time! The phone has all the features I need.
