I like this recipe because you can decorate them with frosting, just like sugar cookies. They take a lot less time! Its a type of shortbread cookie
You need a cookie press to make these.
1 Cup of crisco. Add 6 tsps of water for every cup of crisco.
1/2 cup of sugar
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon almond extract or vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
Preheat the oven to 400. Mix crisco and sugar. Stir in remaining ingredients. Place dough in cookie press. Place shapes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9 minutes or until set. Do NOT brown them. Enjoy!!!!
