Layering your Clothes

Try layering your clothes! If you wear a white shirt, put a tank top of a bright, pastel, or floral print under it. You could even throw a lite sweatshirt of a bright , pastel, or floral print, over your basic colored shirt during those chilly spring days.

Add some Embellishments

Get out your craft box. Pick out some pastel or bright colored beads. Sew them on to your shirts. Find a free pattern on line and make a design on your shirt with them. Got some basic jean shorts, pants, etc.? Sew some of the beads on the pocket edges or make a design on them.

Cut old Jeans

Take some old winter jeans, cut off ends to make Capri's or shorts. Hem the edges. It will look and feel like something new.

Accessories

Making a scarf or belt will add some flare in you spring wardrobe. Without spending money on some. Here are some ways to make it happen. Got old lacy sheets, curtains, old fabrics laying around, etc.?
