The island of St Martin's is defined as the friendliest island in the Caribbean, an island where the sea and shopping go well together and are surely this island's attraction. With the inauguration of a new resort, the latest attractions of St Martin are its pristine beaches, gourmet cuisine, duty free shopping, lively nightlife and its mild climate. No wonder that St Martin is among the most popular destinations among tourists from all over the world, primarily women!

The Caribbean island offers a wide range of elegant tax-free shopping, particularly the capital Marigot, which is a veritable paradise for lovers of shopping, and is mostly known for its elegant boutiques and for its market from where you can buy rum, spices, local fresh fruits and vegetables, in addition you can also find the best creations of artists and craftsmen from all over the world.

To get a tan you can go to sandy beaches whose sand is like talcum powder and are so spectacular because of their clear crystal waters, most of which are easily reached through the ultra comfortable resorts of the island ,one of which is The Radisson St Martin Resort, a marina & Spa. The hotel is situated in a picturesque cove at Anse Marcel, one of the best preserved bays of the island.

Among the most glamorous beaches near the resort, there is the Orient Beach, but for those who want to relax, the Petite Caye islands are perfect, Tintamare and Pinel Island, are famous for their mud therapy and their fine sand. Not to be missed is the Regional Reserve Sous-Marine, a protected park created for the preservation of wildlife on the island where you can enjoy bird watching activities.

The colonial touch to your stay will be given by the excursion, surely recommended to the Fort Louis, an open page of the past of the island. Essential, also, is a surprising visit to the village of Grand Case, known internationally as the "gastronomic capital of the Caribbean", characterized by numerous restaurants within typical coloured houses, all with an excellent variety of meat dishes and seafood, seasoned with spices and tropical fruits. You can choose between coffee on the beach, and traditional open-air bistros specializing in grilled dishes with costs absolutely worth it!

Well like all of the Caribbean, St Martin's is an island surely worth visiting, it is surely a little taste of paradise!
