The Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade
The Belmar/Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade fundraiser program is in full force during the month of February. To start off, there will be a beauty pageant for girls 16+ beginning at 8 pm on February 19. This kicks off almost a month long procession of fundraisers for the Belmar/ Lake Como St. Patrick's Day parade on SUNDAY, MARCH 7, 2010 starting at 12:30 pm on Main Street.

The Queen and court will be chosen for the 36th annual Belmar St. Patrick's Day parade. Women must be 16 years or older married or single. Further information, including an application, can be found here.

Sussex County St. Patrick's day Grand Marshals' Dinner.
The seventh annual dinner will be in Sparta, NJ at the Lake Mohawk Country Club. Tickets cost $75 and the event is February 20, 2010 beginning at 6:00 pm.

Chester, New Jersey
Knights of Columbus St. Patrick's Dinner Dance will be held March 6, 2010 at the St. Lawrence Church Hall from 6 pm to 11:30 pm and tickets will cost $35. This includes a traditional Irish dinner and live music.

Hoboken, New Jersey
Hoboken's St. Patrick's day events are historical, as much as for the trouble they cause as the great time people have. Many bars open at 11 am in the city and the parade starts at 1 pm on 14th and Washington Streets. The parade will only last approximately an hour, but the partying will continue into the night. Due to past issues with drunk driving, public intoxication and urination, The Hoboken Police Chief, Anthony Falcon, has gained approval from the city council to fine those who misbehave $2,000 (up from $1,000 last year). There will be a "zero tolerance" policy. Fines will be issued for those caught consuming alcohol in public, urinating in public, and behaving in a disorderly manner. The parade this year will be on March 6, 2010. Bars that will be participating include Bar None, Lounge 11 will have flipcup and beer pong tournaments from 11am-1pm, Mulligan's, and various other bars.

South Amboy, New Jersey
On March 13, 2010 the South Amboy St. Patrick's Day Parade beginning at 2 pm. This year's parade will have 13 Pipes Bands and 3 Mummers, 33 Bands.

The Somerset County Park Environmental Education Center
Located in Basking Ridge, NJ, on March 14, 2010 there will be a St. Patrick's Day trail ride at 1 pm with check in at 12:30 pm. Walk and trot for riders at intermediate level 2 and above.
